Zac Efron is an American actor, dancer and singer born in October 18, 1987 in California. He started his acting career in early 2000. He was well supported by his family for his acting career. Efron father encouraged him for acting since when he was only 11 year old. He belongs to Jewish family, but never been religious.

Efron first appeared in theatre when he was in the high school. There he also started attending singing classes. In 2006 he did his graduation from Arroyo Grande High School. Carrying on his studies he began his professional acting career.

Zac Efron acted in the film “Melinda's World” in 2003, “Miracle Run” in 2004, “The Derby Stallion” in 2005, “High School Musical” in 2006, “Hairspary” & “High School Musical” in 2007, “High School Musical 3 Senior Year” in 2008, “17 Again” in 2009, “Me and Orson Welles” in 2009 and “Charlie St. Cloud” in 2010.

Rolling Stone declared Efron before releasing “High School Musical 2”, “The poster boy of Teeny boppers” in 2007. His real breakthrough was DISNEY channel original movie High School Musical. His role was in the film as Troy Bolton, a famous pupil and basket ball team captain was very successful. Film was a great hit and two more parts of the film after the great appreciation of the most teen society, came. Efron gained attention of his viewers and fans not only by acting but through his singing as well.

Zac Efron sung the sound tracks of the movies Hairspray & High School Musical 2 in 2007 and High School Musical 3 Senior year in 2008. But he said in his interview that he feels to be a serious actor in the future and not as a singer necessarily.

He got the “Teen Choice Award” for “Choice Breakout Star” in 2006. Then in 2007 he achieved “Kids Choice Award “for “Best Male Actor” & “Teen Choice Award” for “Choice Male Hottie”.

Zc Efron started his career OF ACTING in showbiz from television in 2002. His TV projects were ”Firefly” in 2002, “The Guardian” & “ER” in 2003, “Summerland”, “CSI: Miami” & “The Replacements” in 2005, “Heist”, “The Suite Life of Zack & Cody” & “NCIS” in 2006, “Robot Chicken” in 2008, “Saturday Night Live” & “Entourage” in 2009.

In 2007 people magazine counted Efron among 100 most beautiful people. There he stated he was teased in the school by others for the huge gap in his teeth and he was the shortest kid in the school. He is now 5.8” and 23 year old, beside acting and singing Efron worked in advertisement along with Sean Combs and Kristen bell. In an article from rolling stone Zac Efron stated that he expects “An Action Hero” someday.
